“Not your father’s country band” is the motto that these guys live by, but this doesn’t mean that they lack any traditional element that makes country music great. It’s just that they’ve got some new ideas as well! Ole 60, the band that took country music by storm in 2022, is back on tour. They’re making a stop at the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Saturday, October 19th. They promise to play all of the hits from the highly successful EPs that they’ve released over the last few years.

Rob Langdon is one of the opening acts on this night. He’s got a new song called “Tattoos” out recently. It’s a bit of a mix of pop, rock, and country. His vocals are super country! He also performs certain songs with Ole 60, so expect to see him on the stage quite a bit.

Fox N’Vead is also going to be performing at the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, making this almost a mini-country music fest! The group’s half indie rock band and half country group. A lot like Langdon it’s super country vocals and lyrics with a heavy rock influence. That’s going to set things up well for when Ole 60 hits the stage.

If you want to be a part of the mini country music fest, hit the get tickets button today! A lot of the dates on this impromptu tour Ole 60 is on are selling out quickly.

Ole 60’s debut EP, “Three Twenty-Four,” which they released in 2022, was the No. 1 country album on Apple Music. This speaks to the fact that they’re putting out music that the new generations want to hear. It’s your typical country lyrics, vocals, and overall vibe. At least when it comes to the way that they dress, but there’s a much heavier rock influence. In particular, the guitar lines evoke harder tunes than what you expect from what they would say is your father’s country band! Here’s the kicker, though, and it’s something that they’ll probably do at the Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, North Carolina. They can go acoustic with any of their songs. In doing that, you’re going to see those country roots just come pouring out!

Perhaps their most popular song, “smoke & a light” is a perfect example of this. The version that they released for their 2023 EP “three twenty four” has a smooth electric guitar line in the middle of the song. Parts of it are a lot more rock than country. If they go acoustic, though, it’s Tuesday country music night at your local bar! Ironically, they’ve been able to find performers like Rob Langdon and Fox N’Vead, who have a similar style. This means that in the crowd on October 19th, you can very well see a middle-aged couple with a beer in hand enjoying the show. The bulk of the audience, though, are the young fans of new-age country!

The Greenfield Lake Amphitheater in Wilmington, North Carolina, is one of the larger venues that Ole 60 is going to be hitting up. This is going to give you a chance to see how they can manage a larger stage. Doors are at 6:30 on this Saturday, October 19th. There are a few reasons why you’ll want to get here early. The obvious ones are the two opening acts. Each of them brings their own flavor to the night, and if you’re going to be here, you might as well enjoy the entire show. Another reason is that the entire venue will be accessible through a general admission pass. If you want to be close to the stage, you’ll want to get here before doors.
